Extractive Reserves of Jutái and Juruá (AM): territory, productive chain and its contrasts

Abstract

This study aimed to draw a parallel between the use of territory in the Extractive Reserves Rio Jutaí and the Middle Juruá, in Amazonas, making their respective analyzes between associations and productions among other factors that also make up the understanding of the productive process in resexs. Field work was carried out within these two extractive reserves, facilitating the analysis of the processes within each of them. During the study, two management models were identified in federal extractive units, where despite having the same managing institution, they have economic scenarios and social contrasts that are different from each other, fieldwork was carried out in 2017 in the extractive reserve of Rio Jutaí and 2020 in the Middle Juruá extractive reserve.
