Abstract

Extremism is a very common term nowadays, both in social science and outside the academic sphere. However, its usage is rather awkward: nobody has arrived at a satisfactorily comprehensive definition and no generally accepted definition of extremism exists. Despite this, extremism is a widely studied phenomenon due to its international relevance and scope.
