These videos have been successfully applied recently to different instructional settings to foster procedural learning such as medical diagnosis (Jarodzka et al, ), fish locomotion (Jarodzka, Van Gog, Dorr, Scheiter, & Gerjets, ) or strategic processes such as text–picture integration (Mason, Pluchino & Tornatora, , in press).
