Abstract:The article analyses the political schools of communist cadres in the decade of the thirties. The text explores the distinctive features of the Lenin International School (ELI), the presence of Spanish Communist militants in that institution, the policies to promote national schools, and the historical development of the schools of the PCE between 1936-38.
