“…The pore volume of n-HAp being close to 0.33 cm 3 g − 1 is much lower than the value reported by Xia et al for their specific productions (~1.31 cm 3 g − 1 ) but in the middle range of commercial n-HAp substrates (0.15− 0.96 cm 3 g − 1 ) [72]. The PA6 material also presents a Type II(b) sorption isotherm with little hysteresis; the specific surface area is found close to 13.2 m 2 g − 1 ; this value is consistent with the S BET of PA6 nanofiber membranes (close to 15.8 m 2 g − 1 ) [74]. The pore volume and the average pore size are close to 0.086 cm 3 g − 1 and 2.2 nm, respectively; the material can be considered microporous; hindering the diffusion of metal ions into the sorbent.…”

“…Kang’s team discovered a simple method for mass-producing multilayered nanofibers by adding organic branched salts into spinning solutions using an electrospinning techinique . The approach is applicable to a range of polymers, including but not limited to PVDF, nylon-6 (PA6), polyurethane (PU) elastomers, cellulose acetate (CA), poly m-phenyleneisophthalamide (PMIA), and others. Simultaneously, as illustrated in Figure c, based on the inspiration from a special root-like structure, Gao et al designed and prepared a multilayered T-PVDF nanofiber membrane using an electrospinning method. The prepared membrane was then combined with a poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO)/lithium salt to fabricate a root-like CSE for their applications in all-solid-state lithium batteries.…”

“…8 Wastewater treatment, especially textile effluent including colors and their breakdown products, has grown due to rapid economic and technological progress. 9 All of these techniques are costly with several limitations. Various green technologies are available, but photocatalysis is considered one of the most resourceful.…”
