“…The ATR-FTIR spectrum of g-C 3 N 4 [Figure a(i)] shows the peaks at 808 and 887 cm –1 , which are due to the breathing modes of the triazine ring and the deformation mode of N–H bonds, respectively . The peaks at 1236.47, 1316, 1359.76, 1410, and 1467 cm –1 were assigned to the aromatic sp 3 C–N bonds while the peak at 1647.7 cm –1 corresponds to the sp 2 CN stretching vibration modes. However, the spectrum [Figure a(ii)] of Co 3 O 4 /MoO 3 /g-C 3 N 4 shows a strong peak at 995.03 cm –1 , which is attributed to the terminal Mo–O stretching vibration of the orthorhombic MoO 3 phase. The ATR-FTIR spectrum also shows a broad and sharp peak in the region 1000–900 cm –1 attributed to the stretching vibration of molybdenyl bond ν s (MO).…”

“…Undoubtedly, there are high hopes for the application of nanomaterials not only as photocatalysts in heterogeneous photodegradation but in other scientific fields too. However, the conventional techniques have their limitations, such as expensive equipment, toxic and non-biodegradable precursors, the need for expertise, low yield of product, as well as long reaction times [29,30].…”

“…The characteristics and efficiency of the green synthesized photoactive nanoparticles are presented in the Table 3. One example for the green approaches in the synthesis of TiO 2 nanoparticles is explained in the study by authors Dash et al [29]. In their work the leaf extract of Azadirachta indica was applied.…”
