Fabrication, structure and magnetic properties of CoPt3, CoPt and Co3Pt nanoparticles

Abstract: A set of Co x Pt100−x nanoparticles (NPs) was synthesized by the sol–gel method. The structure and magnetic properties of the produced samples were investigated by x-ray diffraction (XRD), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), selected area electron diffraction (SAED) and a vibrating sample magnetometer. When the Co content ranged from 25 to 75 at%, the results of XRD, HRTEM and SAED revealed the formation of L12 CoPt3, L10 CoPt and … Show more

“…1). This could explain the low intensity of UV emission from these samples, as the anticorrelation between the UV emission and the surface states concentration has been invoked several times in the literature [34][35][36]. Futhermore, recent studies of ZnO nanostructures grown on crystalline Si using the same fabrication system and similar growth conditions as the ones used here, have confirmed a correlation between the green emission at ∼2.3 eV and surface states [12,37] We now turn our attention to the EPR measurements in our ZnO/PS samples.…”

“…The nonlinear system (19) has also been proved to be completely integrable for arbitrary values of the system parameters a, b and c through Weiss-Tabor-Carnevale (WTC) algorithm [30]. N-bright soliton formula for system (19) is constructed in [28]. Here we derive GB and RW solutions for the nonlinear evolutionary eq.…”

“…A 250 mm x 4.6 mm, 5 μm Hypersil ODS column (Thermo Electron Corporation-Agilent, USA) was used for separation of flavonoids and the mobile phase consisted of water:acetic acid (100:1, v:v)(A) and methanol (B) [17]. The gradient condition was as follows: 0 min: 40% B; 20 min: 90% B; 30 min: 40% B.…”
