Facile access to α-silylmethylamidines by BF₃-catalyzed hydroamination of silylynamides with amines

Abstract

A metal-free BF3-catalyzed hydroamination of silylynamides with amines is developed, allowing facile and efficient synthesis of α-silylmethylamidines in moderate to excellent yields under mild reaction conditions.
