Abstract:Super engineering plastics such as polyetheretherketone (PEEK) and polyetherethersulfone (PEES) exhibit thermal stability, chemical resistance, and mechanical strength. Such characteristics are attributed to their robust chemical structures composed of stable aryl ethers. These features make chemical recycling difficult.
