Abstract:The present work aimed to explore the effect of citric acid (CA) on the structures and properties of cassava starch/epoxidized soybean oils‐based bioplastics. First, citric acid‐epoxidized soybean oil oligomers (CESO) were fabricated by the reaction of epoxidized soybean oils (ESO) and CA with different molar ratios (nCA:nepoxy = 3 ~ 12). CESO were successfully synthesized as evidenced by the FTIR and GPC data. Second, the synthesized CESO were applied to fabricate the bioplastics with starch by solution casti… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
