Abstract:Poly(2-hydroxyethylmethacrylate-co-2-(dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate), P(HEMA-co-DMAEMAx), copolymers were quaternized through the reaction of a part of (dimethylamino)ethyl moieties of DMAEMA units with 1-bromohexadecane.
