Facilitating Electrochemical Ozone Production and Chlorine Evolution Reaction by Synergistic Effect of Multicomponent Metal Oxides

Abstract: The concomitant degradation of organic contaminants using green oxidants, NaClO and O3, exhibits great potential to mitigate the deleterious impact of organic pollutants. In this work, the electrochemical ozone production (EOP) and chlorine evolution reaction (CER) performed by highly active electrocatalysts composed of Ce‐Ni‐Sb‐SnO2 and Ru‐Ir‐Ce‐Ni‐Sb‐SnO2, respectively, are presented.
