Sumenep is currently beginning to reveal its identity to the people of Indonesia, with its new motto Sumenep City of Keris. This motto is being promoted to the community to introduce the culture of the city. However, it is unfortunate that the opportunity of the keris industry in Sumenep Regency cannot provide a positive contribution to the economic welfare of the population in Sumenep Regency, mainly due to the lack of support from the Sumenep Regency Government in formulating policies, which is still not optimal. The sensitivity of the local government is indeed being tested, especially with the existence of Republic of Indonesia Emergency Law Number 12 of 1951. After Sumenep City declared itself as the city of keris, it is feared that there will be many people who will need legal protection if they want to bring heritage items such as keris in the future. This emergency law is also considered outdated or obsolete by researchers because it no longer suits the current situation and conditions. In this study, the researcher used normative research methods with legislative approach and case approach. The legal materials used are primary and secondary legal materials using descriptive analysis techniques, systematic techniques, and argumentation techniques. The goal is for the local government to educate and introduce the Culture and Local Wisdom in Sumenep Regency to the elements of the community, and for the people of Sumenep Regency to develop tourism based on Culture and Local Wisdom in Sumenep Regency.

Introducción. La industria turística es crucial para el desarrollo económico de Cuenca, por ellos la administración de los servicios turísticos en la ciudad ha realizado importantes inversiones en la promoción, incluyendo la creación de la página de Facebook Visit Cuenca y la puesta en marcha de un centro de información turística. El propósito de esta investigación es explorar la percepción de los turistas sobre la administración de los servicios turísticos en Cuenca, mediante el análisis de los comentarios proporcionados por los turistas. Objetivo. Identificar áreas de mejora en la administración de los servicios turísticos y desarrollar estrategias para mejorar la experiencia turística en general. Metodología. El diseño de la investigación para este estudio sobre la percepción de la administración de los servicios turísticos en la ciudad de Cuenca, Ecuador, es mixto ya que fue una combinación de métodos cualitativos y cuantitativos. Los métodos de recogida de datos para este estudio incluyeron el análisis de los comentarios extraídos de la página de Facebook "Visit Cuenca" y del foro turístico de la ciudad de Cuenca en Trip Advisor. El tamaño final de la muestra fue de 100 participantes, entre turistas ecuatorianos e internacionales. Resultados. Se obtienen los siguientes resultados en diferentes componentes de la percepción de Cuenca, Ecuador: 1. Percepción de los Turistas hacia los Servicios de la Administración Turística. 2. Percepción de los Turistas hacia los Servicios de Información Turística. 3. Percepción de los turistas sobre los servicios de comida y bebida. 4. Percepción de los turistas sobre la seguridad. 5. Percepción de los turistas hacia la cultura y las tradiciones locales. 6. Percepción de los turistas sobre la sostenibilidad ambiental. 7. Comparación de la percepción entre turistas nacionales e internacionales. 8. Agradecimientos y 9. Conclusiones: La investigación muestra la percepción de la administración de los servicios turísticos en la ciudad de Cuenca, Ecuador, muestra los niveles de satisfacción de los turistas hacia diversos aspectos de los servicios turísticos. Los resultados muestran que los turistas están satisfechos con los servicios de alojamiento, los servicios de transporte, las atracciones turísticas y los servicios de comidas y bebidas. El estudio también pone de relieve las diferencias de percepción entre turistas nacionales e internacionales. Sin embargo, hay margen de mejora en la disponibilidad, calidad y accesibilidad de los servicios de información turística, así como en la aplicación de medidas de seguridad y prácticas de sostenibilidad medioambiental. The impact of an urban tourism boom on farmers' income in neighboring rural communities: Evidence from the Lijiang Ancient City, China

It is of great significance to explore the impact of tourism development on the neighboring economy. The Lijiang Ancient City (LAC) is a World Cultural Heritage Site and one of the important tourist destinations in China. However, the impact of an urban tourism boom on farmers' income in neighboring rural communities is not clear. Drawing on a comprehensive dataset of 672 field surveys conducted between 2009 and 2016 in the Lashihai watershed of Yunnan Province, China, we produce compelling evidence indicating that the tourism boom in the LAC has had a positive impact on farmers' income in neighboring rural communities. Our findings reveal that increasing per capita income in nearby communities by about 6.99% to 8.55% for every 10% increase in tourism activity; however, this impact diminishes as the distance to the LAC increases. Furthermore, the tourism boom has facilitated a harmonious and mutually beneficial coexistence between agriculture and tourism in neighboring communities, leading to the enhancement of farmers' livelihood strategies and expanded employment opportunities. Additionally, notable disparities in the economic impacts of the LAC tourism boom. Both non‐poor farmers and those with higher social capital have experienced a positive increase in income. The effect on income is more pronounced for farmers residing in closer proximity to Lashihai lake, compared with those residing farther away. This study provides an empirical basis for promoting synergistic urban–rural development and rural revitalization.
