Abstract: This research investigates the factors influencing undergraduate students' interest in learning English at a public university. A quantitative methodology was used, with 250 students completing a 27-item Likert scale survey. The survey measured motivational factors, concerns, confidence, learning processes, benefits, attitudes, and self-regulation.
