Factors Affecting Students’ Continued Usage Intention of E-Learning During COVID-19 Pandemic: Extending Delone & Mclean IS Success Model

Abstract: Due to COVID-19 pandemic, electronic learning (e-learning) has been considered as a main tool for delivering education all over the world. The study aims at identifying the factors affecting students’ continued usage intention of e-learning during COVID-19 pandemic and the mediating role of student satisfaction. To achieve that, a research model has been developed through combining Delone & McLean model, diffusion of innovation theory, and COVID-19 perceived risk and self-efficacy as contextual factors. “…(2022) noted, higher system quality enhances the system's utility to end-users, underscoring the importance of prioritising system quality to impact users positively. These findings are consistent with prior research (Abugabah et al, 2015;Awad et al, 2022;Çelik & Ayaz, 2022;DeLone & McLean, 2016;Jami Pour et al, 2022;Rokhman et al, 2022) indicating that perceived system quality, both directly and indirectly through technology acceptance, is positively linked to individual outcomes, including enhanced individual productivity and performance.…”

“…influenced by information, system, and service quality (Delone & McLean, 2003). These assumptions have been supported in online and e-learning contexts (Al-Adwan et al, 2021;Al-Adwan et al, 2022;Awad et al, 2022;Çelik & Ayaz, 2022). In this study, the following hypotheses were proposed: H1: Information quality is a predictor of behavioral intention.…”
