Factors Associated With Avoidance of Severe Complications After 25 Yr of IDDM: Pittsburgh Epidemiology of Diabetes Complications Study I

Abstract: To identify characteristics associated with long-term avoidance of insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM) complications, subjects taking part in an epidemiologic natural history study of childhood-onset IDDM, with a duration of disease greater than or equal to 25 yr, were studied.
