“…Taking these points into consideration, we are of the view that organizations that extensively use sustainable practices perform better than their counterparts by improving well-being and positivity in the workplace. Furthermore, it is due to the complex nature of the jobs that employees are likely to experience work pressures that affect their ability to perform prescribed tasks (Bandura, 1997), interact with team members (Bui et al , 2011) and cope with workplace stressors, all of which can impact employees’ self-efficacy and commitment (Meyer and Allen, 1991). However, previous studies concerning this topic have sparsely focused on how sustainable practices can impact the well-being (Kaptanoglu and Demir, 2013) of the employees at workplace.…”

“…[16] In this line, Schaufeli and Enzmann (1998) [63] emphasize that the development of burnout symptoms in young employees is due to circumstances such as reality shock, high expectations, or low success when socializing. However, Bui et al (2011) [64] conclude in their study that no relationship between age and burnout is identified. In contrast, the demographic variable gender is not proposed as a strong indicator of burnout [59,65], as supported by our results.…”

“…However, Bui et al (2011) [64] conclude in their study that no relationship between age and burnout is identified. In contrast, the demographic variable gender is not proposed as a strong indicator of burnout [59,65], as supported by our results. The sample sizes of men and women were similar in this study, as there was a greater number of women; this greater presence of the female gender in the dental profession was a true reflection of the higher number of female dentists than male dentists registered in Spain, as the demographic profile has gradually changed [16].…”

“…Em uma pesquisa realizada com 336 Perfusionistas da American Society of Extracorporeal Technology (AmSECT), 67% eram do sexo masculino e 33% do sexo feminino, a análise dos dados revelou que a associação entre as variáveis burnout e demanda de trabalho, incluindo nível de estresse, conflito, plantão e horas trabalhadas foi estatisticamente significante (p <0,05). As demandas excessivas de trabalho têm o maior impacto sobre o desenvolvimento de burnout (17,18) .…”
