Factors influencing strength and direction of natural ventilation pressure in general mines to control mine airing

Abstract: The article presents three main factors, influencing the strength of natural ventilating pressure in general mines between the shafts: gas emission from mines (air density changes due to the change in concentration of other gases), changes of air parameters taken in by ventilating shafts, and air pressure due to the productivity shifts of the Main Fan Unit (or other devices for positive and negative control of air distribution).
