Factors of Th17 and Treg Lymphocyte Differentiation in Pulmonary Tuberculosis

Abstract: In patients with infiltrative pulmonary tuberculosis, the increase in IL-6 secretion, the decrease in TGFβ production (in case of drug resistance of the causative agent), and unchanged level of IL-1β secretion by mononuclear leukocytes in vitro were associated with increased number of CD4(+)CD161(+)IL-17A(+) Th17 lymphocytes in the peripheral blood. In patients with disseminated drug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis, TGFβ hyperproduction promoted differentiation of CD4(+)CD25(+)FoxP3(+) Treg lymphocytes with i… Show more

“…При этом он также стимулирует рост и дифференцировку регуляторных T-лимфоцитов с супрессорной активностью [12]. В наших предыдущих работах было установлено, что при ТБ в крови больных значительно повышается содержание Treg, в том числе их субпопуляций c супрессорной активностью, экспрессирующих транскрипционный фактор Foxp3 [13]. Доказано, что первичный механизм действия регуляторных T-лимфоцитов представляет собой дезорганизацию процессов метаболизма.…”

“…Treg-mediated immune suppression and tolerance to self-components Th17 and Treg have been studied in many malignancies including gastric cancer. The expression of Th17 and Treg in the diseases is related to the factors that influence their differentiation (20,21). Moreover, the function of Th17 and Treg in the diseases depends on the effectors that are synthesized and secreted by them (10,11).…”

“…In addition, several studies have demonstrated that neutrophils have an important role in the development of different cell types, such as natural killer (Jaeger et al, 2012) and dendritic cells (Schuster et al, 2013). Given that differentiation and expansion of Th17 cells in pulmonary TB is mainly regulated through IL-1β and IL-6-dependent mechanisms (Zhou et al, 2007; Kononova et al, 2015), and the literature demonstrates that neutrophils express and produce cytokines such as IL-1β and IL-6, either constitutively or upon activation by micro-environmental stimuli (Cho et al, 2012; Jaillon et al, 2013), further research will help to improve our understanding of the molecular mechanisms of the vaccine mc 2 -CMX to protect against TB. For example, determine the combinatory signal of IL-1β and IL-6 in neutrophils to act as cofactors for Th17 generation during vaccination against TB.…”
