Factors to take in consideration on the driving fitness on driving patients sith after-effects caused by a stroke (sometimes called an acute cerebrovascular attack) Factores a considerar en la aptitud para conducir en pacientes conductores con secuelas por accidente cerebro vascular (ACV) Summary Goal: study, describe, and analyze the physical and psychological deficits that will determine the ability to drive in patients with CVA aftereffects, taking into consideration the Spanish driver assessment model. Methodology: application of the rules and regulations to the patient with CVA aftereffects. Results: Analysis of the wide variety of factors that can determine the ability of these group of patient-drivers to drive, depending on the aftereffects observed. Conclusions: Using the adequate methodology in this type of assessment can work out the problems found in determining the ability to drive.Resumen Objetivo, estudiar, describir, y analizar las deficiencias físicas y psicológicas que van a determinar la aptitud para conducir en pacientes con secuelas por ACV, considerando el Modelo Español de Reconocimiento de Conductores. Metodología: aplicación de la normativa a pacientes con secuelas por ACV. Resultados: análisis de la gran variedad de factores que pueden determinar la aptitud en este grupo de pacientes-conductores, dependiendo de las secuelas observadas. Conclusiones: utilizar un adecuada metodología en la valoración puede resolver la dificultad para determinar la aptitud.Keywords Deficits found in drivers with CVA aftereffects .
