“…The test process is illustrated in Figure 14, and the results are presented in Table 2. According to field-practice experience, the principles for the paste-filling-material ratio are as follows: 1 ⃝ The slump should be greater than 18 cm. 2 ⃝ The stratification of the slurry should be less than 2 cm.…”

“…Filling mining can not only increase the coal-recovery rate but also prevent surface subsidence, improving the safety of mining operations. The industry encounters challenges such as insufficient filling materials and low filling efficiency, impeding the broad implementation of filling-mining technology [1][2][3][4][5]. Enhancing the efficiency and reducing the costs of filling mining in coal mines present pivotal research problems.…”

“…It is widely believed that paste backfilling is an ideal solution for addressing environmental issues associated with coal mining. The stability of the goaf is closely related to the structural properties of the paste backfill after its implementation. Factors such as temperature, pressure, and chemical composition affect the paste backfill, leading to physicochemical changes and subsequently influencing the filling effect. …”

“…The initial velocity of coal gas emission (Δ P ) reflects the ability of the coal body to release gas, which is widely used in coal mine production practice as an important coal and gas outburst prediction index. It is generally believed that the greater the Δ P , the stronger the initial gas release capacity of the coal body, and the greater the risk of outburst. After coal seam water injection, the surface of the coal body will be wetted and the Δ P will also change, which has been studied by many scholars. Crosdale et al found that there is a logarithmic function relationship between the Δ P and moisture content, and when the moisture content is 1.4–7.9%, Δ P is decreased the most with the increase in the moisture content.…”
