Failure mechanisms in weathered meta-sedimentary rocks

Abstract: The weathering profile of the extended cut slope within the quartz mica schist along Pos Selim Highway in Perak State, Malaysia shows three broad morphological zones; bedrock zone, intermediate zone, and residual soil zone.
