Faithful Euclidean Distance Field from Log-Gaussian Process Implicit Surfaces

Abstract: In this letter, we introduce the Log-Gaussian Process Implicit Surface (Log-GPIS), a novel continuous and probabilistic mapping representation suitable for surface reconstruction and local navigation.
