Families in Later Life

Abstract: As the average age of individuals is ever increasing, families now entering later life are faced with challenges and joys often unique to their generation. Faced with caring for children and caring for elderly parents, and with new relational and health challenges, families in later life carry their own special importance in the family life cycle.
