Family Appraisal of the Down Syndrome Diagnosis

Abstract: Objective: to analyze the family appraisal about the Down syndrome diagnosis. Method: this is a qualitative, exploratory study, guided by the Resiliency Model of Family Stress, Adjustment, and Adaptation.
