Family Firms, M&A Strategies, and M&A Performance: A Meta-Analysis

Abstract: Extant research has yielded conflicting theoretical and empirical predictions about whether family firm acquirers perform better or worse in mergers and acquisitions (M&As) than their nonfamily firm counterparts.
