Farmers’ cooperatives in Southwest China: Beyond the dichotomies of failure/success and (in) authenticity?

Abstract: China has provided strong policy support for Farmers’ Cooperatives (FCs) in a bid to achieve its agricultural ambitions; however, scholars are divided on their contribution.
