Abstract: The inhibition of intimal hyperplasia (IH) is an effective strategy to improve the long-term outcome of endovascular therapy and prevent restenosis. Farrerol, a naturally occurring dihydroflavone with a variety of bioactivities, exerts inhibitory effects against balloon injury-induced IH in rats.
