Abstract:The article proposes a fast algorithm for constructing the transitive closures between all pairs of nodes in the structure of a network object, which can have both directional and non-directional links. The algorithm is based on the disjunctive addition of the elements of certain rows of the adjacency matrix, which models (describe) the structure of the original network object. The article formulates and proves a theorem that using such a procedure, the matrix of transitive closures of a network object can be … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
