Fast decoupled load flow analysis with SSSC power injection model

Abstract: This paper presents a facile incorporation of a static synchronous series compensator (SSSC) into the fast decoupled (FD) load flow method. The model is based on power injection formulation. The SSSC is represented by a series impedance and two power injection loads at the terminal nodes.
