Clothing is considered essential for human beings, providing cover and warmth and representing stature in society. The products manufactured by the sector on a global scale are gigantic in size and are categorized as prominent sectors, which are also prominent in terms of economic value in international trade. Billions of products are changing hands across the world and thus require more understanding of the upstream part of the global supply chain, especially the practices used in their ecosystem for production. In a similar pursuit, a study has been conducted on green supply chain management practices and their effect on the environmental performance of the Pakistani textile industry to transform into a chapter for a larger audience. By delving into the supply chain and operational procedures of textile manufacturers in Pakistan, the chapter uncovers their GSCM practices and their effects on environmental performance through empirical testing.
