Fast Measurement of Brillouin Frequency Shift in Fiber Based on Principal Components Analysis

Abstract: Conventional method of estimating Brillouin Frequency Shift (BFS) in fiber is time- wasting. A novel method based on Principal Components Analysis (PCA) of a fast measurement for BFS without sacrifice of accuracy is proposed. © 2021 The Author(s)
