Abstract:This work discusses design optimization of quasi‐periodic slow‐wave structures in the context of wideband branch‐line coupler miniaturization. Size reduction is achieved by using slow‐wave structures as substitutes for conventional transmission lines of the reference circuit. Selection of a specific cell realization as well as determination of a repetition factor of the quasi‐periodic slow‐wave structure is accomplished by optimization‐based theoretical studies. The principal design procedure involves cell opt… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
