Fat–Storing Cells of the Rat Liver Synthesize and Secrete C1–Esterase Inhibitor; Modulation by Cytokines

Abstract: During liver fibrogenesis, fat-storing cells transform into myofibroblast-like cells and produce increasing amounts of extracellular matrix proteins.
