Fatal gastrointestinal complications in Pitt‐Hopkins syndrome

Abstract: Pitt-Hopkins syndrome (PTHS) is a rare neurodevelopmental disorder caused by mutations of the transcription factor 4 (Tcf4) gene. Individuals with PTHS often suffer from severe abdominal bloating and constipation.
