Fatal Manifestations of Methotrexate Overdose in Case of Psoriasis Due to Dosing Error

Abstract: For more than 50 years, methotrexate (MTX), when used in low doses, has been one of the most commonly used drugs in the treatment of psoriasis. It has immunosuppressive as well as anti-inflammatory properties. Pancytopenia, hepatic dysfunction, respiratory toxicity, and acute renal failure are some of the reported side effects.
