Abstract:Developing dual-function electrocatalysts that improve oxygen reduction/evolution reaction (ORR/OER) kinetics and durability is strongly desirable but still challenging. Herein, ultrasmall Co nanoparticles (NPs) embedded into hollow hierarchically porous Fe, N-codoped carbon spheres (denoted as Co/Fe-NC) are prepared through one-step pyrolysis of trimetallic ZnCoFe-ZIFs composites. The hierarchically porous structure of Co/Fe-NC demonstrates that the micropores possess strong capability to O 2 capture and cont… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
