Feasibility and Acceptability of Group Cell Phones to Promote Optimal Breastfeeding in a Women's Microcredit Program in Nigeria

Abstract: We previously reported on a breastfeeding promotion intervention that successfully increased optimal breastfeeding practices using cell phone messaging and group learning sessions integrated into a women's microcredit program in Nigeria. Using a novel approach, one cell phone was given to each group of 5‐7 microcredit clients.
