“…Endovascular coil occlusion with or without stent assistance has been shown to be safe and efficacious in saccular TPcomA aneurysms (Liu et al 2019). Wang et al (2019) successfully treated 42 patients with 43 TPcomA aneurysms using coil occlusion, and reported an 18% rate of aneurysm reoccurring and therefore requiring re-coiling.
