“…In this experience, we tested the hypothesis that dose escalation using salvage LDR brachytherapy alone in the setting of a nodular recurrence would result in meaningful benefits with minimal toxicity. The use of brachytherapy has been described in the literature following recurrences after definitive EBRT [ 12 14 ], however, there are only a few reports of salvage brachytherapy after prostatectomy [ 15 18 ].
