Abstract:This Paper describes results of the feasibility review of a telescopic wing application in unmanned aerial systems with self-similarity of Reynolds Re. Low Re is achieved through low-velocity flow of the lifting surface and small dimensions of an aircraft. Such combination is typical for a mini remotely piloted system according to UVS International classification. At low Reynolds the wing lift and high-lift device performance reduce. While in the high-lift mode, it is possible to adjust the wing area rather th… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
