Feasibility study of a tropical sweet corn farming at the Center of Innovation and Agrotechnology Universitas Gadjah Mada

Abstract: Sweet corn is a tropical plant that is widely grown by farmers in Indonesia. The sweet corn market is wide open to the retail level since it is popular for its sweet taste. It can be consumed directly for vegetables, roasted corn or steamed corn. In terms of price, sweet corn offers a higher value than field corn, thus encouraging the enthusiasm of farmers to plant sweet corn.
