Features of assessing the reliability of deck equipment for fishing vessels

Abstract

A characteristic feature of the operation of deck equipment is their operation with variable load, in several environments, in conditions of increased vibration, high humidity, and aggressive environment. About 40–60% of the time, the drives of such devices operate in non-stationary modes. Moreover, the MTBF, as a rule, is less than the planned one by an average of 30–40%. The article discusses the features of determining the reliability indicators of deck equipment, presents the results of periodic inspections and expert assessment of specialists.
