Features of Elementary Burst Formation During Cutting Coals and Isotropic Materials With Reference Cutting Tool of Mining Machines

Show more

“…The employees of the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Saint Petersburg Mining University designed and manufactured a bench ( Figure 2) in order to experimentally study the rock-breaking mechanism of a potash mass with a single cutter [16,22]. The bench includes a base 8 on which a welded frame 4 is located (connected by welded seams and jibs).…”

“…A potash ore block 10 is installed on the base 8 and fixed in a stationary position with clamps 2 and 9. The step and deepening of the cutting are set by moving the block 10 [16,22]. The bench hydraulic system ( Figure 3) consists of two gear-type pumps 3 and 16 driven by a three-phase asynchronous motor 1 through a gearbox 2.…”

“…Up to 80% of the world's oil suffers when wax precipitates out and solidifies in formation pores and fluid flow channels, at the wellbore, on the sidewalls of wells, in the tubing, casings, pump strings, and in processing systems. Wax precipitation may change the flow behavior of the crude oil from Newtonian to non-Newtonian which leads to higher liquid viscosity and consequently leads an increase in energy consumption for pumping as well as a decrease in pumping capacity (Zheng et al 2016;Zheng et al 2017;Drozdov and Gorbyleva 2019;Leontaritis et al 1998;Gabov et al 2019). Furthermore, wax deposition in well tubing and processing equipment may lead to more frequent shutdowns and operational hazards and as a result cause dramatic reduction in production, equipment failures, loss of storage and transport capacity, and loss of efficiency.…”

“…Currently, the protective coating is an optimal solution to improve the surface workability of ordinary metal and alloy parts [1,2]. The HVOF spray method is quite versatile and suitable for a wide range of materials from metal powders, alloys, metallic ceramics, caustics, and offers superior coating quality compared to other common methods.…”
