Abstract:Bursitis is an inflammatory process that affects the joint capsule located between the bones and tendon fibers. In the normal state, the joint capsule is filled with synovial fluid the main function of which is to provide hydraulic lubrication for the normal sliding of the tendon along the bone in order to void damage to the tendon fibers.
