Abstract: The similarity of the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis and atherothrombotic complications, regardless of their location, makes the approaches to secondary prevention similar, which include lifestyle modification, pharmacotherapy of hemodynamic disorders, metabolic changes and hemostasis.
