Features of severe asthma in school-age children: Atopy and increased exhaled nitric oxide

Abstract: Background-Children with severe asthma have persistent symptoms despite treatment with inhaled corticosteroids (ICSs). The differentiating features of severe asthma in children are poorly defined.
