Abstract: An ultrasound examination (USG) with Doppler mapping was performed in 25 patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and 25 patients with erosive osteoarthritis (EOA) to clarify the ultrasound picture of handjoint damage. We have revealed the characteristic features allowing to perform differential diagnosis between RA and EOA of the hands joints.
