Features of Women's Welfare Clinic Work in Cities Located in the Area of Active Combat Actions (On Example of Work of Women's Welfare Clinic of Kharkiv City Maternity Hospital)

Abstract

russia's large-scale aggression against Ukraine continues. During the attack, many medical facilities were destroyed, and some were forced to stop their work. A certain number of medical facilities are located in the zone of active hostilities. As a result of such formed circumstances, medical institutions cannot provide their work to a certain extent. All this had a negative impact on the possibility of providing medical assistance to the civilian population. But despite all the difficulties, medical facilities are repaired, resume their work and try to meet the population's needs for medical assistance. For example, to evaluate the functioning of medical institutions in the difficult conditions of military rule, the work of the women's consultation at the Kharkiv City maternity hospital, which is in the zone of active hostilities, is described. The work of the women's consultation was stopped due to damage to the maternity hospital as a result of active shelling. But at the moment, the maternity hospital is being actively renovated, and there is an opportunity to resume the work of the women's consultation. The article analyzes the main indicators of the work of women's counselling compared with the indicators of the pre-war period. The evaluation of the work of the medical institution is given. Therefore, the presence of medical institutions in the zone of active hostilities became the reason for changing their usual work. And this, in turn, had a negative impact on the reproductive health of the female population.
