Abstract:Case summary A 6-month-old male entire domestic shorthair cat presented for presumptive Toxoplasma myopathy that was non-responsive to antiprotozoal therapy. Clinical features included marked macroglossia, dysphagia, regurgitation, truncal muscle hypertrophy, pelvic limb gait abnormalities and megaoesophagus.
